Over a decade ago, Michigan Opera Theatre enlisted Real Integrated to help transform this non-profit cultural jewel into a premiere regional performing arts organization with multi-dimensional reach, expanding beyond the four walls of the Detroit Opera House. Real Integrated leads the opera and dance season campaign strategies and all creative for Michigan Opera Theatre.

  • Strategize

    Mr. Arminiski’s work has been most notably featured in promotional materials for bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, and Jimmy Hendrix. Real Integrated wanted to bring this element of “Rock n’ Roll” to the theatre, with the idea that Opera is just as hardcore; many of the themes in Opera run parallel to those that these Pop icons sing about. Using the theme line “Drama in the ‘D,'” Real Integrated began to build a campaign that united these two Detroit cultural icons.

  • Execute

    Using each shows’ storyline as a guide, Mr. Arminski created original works of art for each of the shows in the 2013-2014 season. These pieces were used in multiple mediums including digital and social media, promotional posters, brochures, and outdoor print.

  • Carry Forward

    Building off of the momentum created by this campaign, Real Integrated is now “Bringing Opera to the World” in the 2014-2015 Opera and Dance season. Together, the Michigan Opera Theatre and Real Integrated have set out on a journey to show people how in tune Opera is with every emotion and every feeling in their lives. The Michigan Opera Theatre will be bringing their shows to a wider audience this year, traveling around the state to reach a new level of relevancy in our idea of Pop culture.
